Bringing Together Entrepreneurial Efforts for Economic Growth

On September 27, 2012, at the annual conference Developing Entrepreneurial Companies, leaders of regional entrepreneurship development organizations signed a Partnership Agreement with the Center for Entrepreneurship to create the Alliance for Entrepreneurship Development. The Alliance is focused on providing entrepreneurs with access to international and national entrepreneurship events, educational programs targeting prospective entrepreneurs, and initiatives that promote entrepreneurship as the foundation of economic well-being, fostering a favorable environment for innovation. The Alliance also promotes entrepreneurship education methodology by endorsing entrepreneurship programs in universities and conducting trainings for professors.

Key Organizations Involved in the Alliance

The Alliance for Entrepreneurship Development collaborates with various key organizations to further its mission. One notable program is Global Entrepreneurship Week, which gathers millions of entrepreneurs across the globe to celebrate innovation and progress. Another significant program is Startup Huddle, a community-building initiative that helps one entrepreneur at a time by offering a test-bed for their ideas and encouraging a supportive environment. These programs, among others, play a crucial role in developing a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem.
