Training Educators to Cultivate Future Entrepreneurs
Dynamic Entrepreneurship Classroom (DEC) program provides university faculty with a comprehensive introduction to effective techniques in the teaching of entrepreneurship, including syllabus development, course content, experiential learning techniques, and teaching approaches. DEC enhances the ability of educators to provide critical training to potential entrepreneurs, who can then go on to develop companies that create sustainable jobs. Program instructors include: Dr. Ray Smilor, Schumacher Fellow at the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University; Dr. Michael Morris, Mitchell Chair in Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University; and Dr. Minet Schindehutte, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Over 110 professors and instructors have participated in this program since 2006.
