Entrepreneurial Seminar Highlights Key Aspects of Business Management

A seminar targeting small and socially oriented businesses was held in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from October 23 through 27, 2012. This educational program, developed by the Kauffmann Foundation (USA) and based on best practices of the U.S school of business, was facilitated by Maxim Gvozdev, a certified FastTrac Planning trainer. The program focused on 9 modules designed to provide basic knowledge in marketing, financial documentation, production, and growth management. Participants engaged with successful entrepreneurs who shared their experiences and strategies for business success.

Key Organizations Involved

Kauffmann Foundation is an American private, nonpartisan foundation based in Kansas City, Missouri, that focuses on education and entrepreneurship. It was established by entrepreneur and philanthropist Ewing Marion Kauffman. Their programs range from local to international initiatives, all aimed at fostering a society of economically independent individuals who contribute to their own development. For this seminar, they provided the foundational framework based on U.S. business practices. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a network of business groups from different regions, representing the interests of business communities and promoting economic development.
