G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance Convenes in Seoul Prior to G20 Summit

November 9, 2010: Seoul, South Korea. The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA), a global network of young entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them, met in Seoul to discuss strategies for enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem and fostering global entrepreneurship. The Alliance's work in Korea built on its successful launch at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit in Toronto, Canada in June 2010. Leading organizations representing millions of young entrepreneurs signed a charter outlining a framework for ongoing engagement with the G20 process to include entrepreneurship in its agenda.

Key Organizations Driving Global Entrepreneurship

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA) was established to champion the importance of young entrepreneurs to the G20 member nations and to share practices that enhance competitiveness and growth. It represents organizations from both industrialized and developing economies, advocating for young entrepreneurs as crucial drivers of economic renewal, job creation, and social change. The Young Entrepreneurs Alliance aims to inspire future generations of entrepreneurs through events, resources, and international cooperation. Meanwhile, the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrates innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life and drive economic growth.
