Dynamic Entrepreneurship Classroom Program Empowers Faculty

There is a global entrepreneurial revolution afoot. The need for individuals with dreams who take risks, show perseverance, and creatively overcome challenges is ever-growing. Oklahoma State University, in collaboration with Texas Christian University and Syracuse University, has taken a nationally-recognized entrepreneurship training program, the Dynamic Entrepreneurship Classroom, to faculty. This intensive, three-day program exposes university faculty to best practices in entrepreneurship education. The focus is beyond new venture creation; it is about the entrepreneurial mindset, which encompasses recognizing opportunity, leveraging resources, mitigating risks, and embracing creativity and innovation.

Partnerships and Programs Supporting Entrepreneurship

For the fifth time over the past few years, Oklahoma State University has collaborated with Texas Christian University and Syracuse University to share the powerful potential of entrepreneurship with faculty members. The program aims to equip faculty with the tools they need to effectively teach entrepreneurship, both within universities and to individuals hoping to start new ventures. These faculty members will reach tens of thousands of students and community residents through their academic programs, incubators, economic development organizations, and other entities. This effort is coordinated by the St. Petersburg University Center for Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with the Dynamic Entrepreneurship Classroom program. Significant results have been achieved in terms of new courses launched and innovative approaches to course design and delivery, targeting both university students and aspiring entrepreneurs in the community. Oklahoma State University also entered a formal agreement with St. Petersburg University for ongoing student and faculty exchanges. This collaboration underscores the commitment of Oklahoma State University and its partners to fostering the entrepreneurial mindset and supporting the growth of entrepreneurship education globally.
