The Center for Entrepreneurship has marked its fifth anniversary, demonstrating its success in fostering a robust entrepreneurial culture. This organization, established in 2002 by the U.S. Russia Investment Fund, has made significant strides in supporting entrepreneurs through various initiatives. Patricia M. Cloherty, the founder, was honored with the Order of Friendship for her contributions to business development and international cooperation. The Center runs successful programs like Fasttrac, a mini-MBA course developed with Intel, to help entrepreneurs plan and grow their businesses. Additionally, the Center collaborates with universities to enhance entrepreneurship education and has sent professors to the Harvard Business School for specialized training.

Key Collaborations and Acknowledged Achievements

The Center for Entrepreneurship has established strong partnerships with key organizations worldwide. The Fasttrac program, developed in collaboration with Intel, offers a comprehensive business planning curriculum. This program connects participants to experienced business professionals and international experts. Furthermore, the Center initiated the creation of the Russian Association of Entrepreneurship Education, which works to enrich entrepreneurship teaching standards in academia. These efforts have facilitated an environment where entrepreneurs can network, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights. The Center remains committed to nurturing growth in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, ensuring more individuals can leverage economic opportunities.
