Examining the Journey and Contributions of The Center for Entrepreneurship

Since 2002, The Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) has developed a reputation for quality programming, innovative training, and concrete results. Starting with a mission to accelerate entrepreneurship, CFE has trained hundreds of entrepreneurs who have created thousands of jobs. The Center has created proprietary learning materials, conducted innovative networking events, and directed practical peer-to-peer exchanges. Additionally, it has helped launch and worked with a wide range of business and entrepreneurship organizations. CFE has also started a nationwide professional academic association to create new curricula and enhance entrepreneurship education at universities. Partnering with international organizations and companies, CFE provides recognition programs for entrepreneurs, including sponsoring and supporting Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year awards. The Center has conducted policy forums to improve the climate for innovation by highlighting factors that improve and inhibit a culture of entrepreneurship. Regularly leveraging matching funding for new initiatives, CFE continues to work with new partners to expand the breadth and reach of its entrepreneurship development activities. Collaborating with key organizations such as Junior Achievement, Entrepreneurs' Organization, and the American Chamber of Commerce, CFE has become a credible, respected, and internationally recognized force supporting economic development.

Significant Partnerships and Collaborations

CFE has formed numerous impactful partnerships with both national and international organizations. Junior Achievement is dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy through hands-on programs. The partnership with CFE has allowed the dissemination of entrepreneurial education, fostering the next generation of leaders. Similarly, Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) is a global network that empowers business owners to learn and grow, leading to greater success in business and beyond. Through collaborative efforts, CFE and EO have amplified the reach and impact of entrepreneurial initiatives worldwide. Additionally, partnering with the American Chamber of Commerce has provided CFE with access to a network of seasoned professionals and industry leaders, fostering an environment conducive to business growth and economic development.
