Highlighting the Vital Role of Entrepreneurs at the G20 Summit
The third edition of the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit (G20 YES) is set to take place from October 31 to November 2, 2011, in Nice, France. This annual event, organized by the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (G20 YEA), brings together the most emblematic entrepreneurs from G20 nations to address youth entrepreneurship challenges globally. Over 400 entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 45 will participate, working to finalize recommendations that will be presented to G20 leaders. These recommendations aim to demonstrate how entrepreneurship can be a driving force in overcoming global recession and shaping an innovative, sustainable, and united 21st-century economy. The measures will respond to strategic questions about mobilizing resources to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, which is essential for the growth, prosperity, and competitiveness of nations.
G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and Its Global Impact
The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (G20 YEA) is a collective of organizations promoting youth entrepreneurship as a pivotal driver for economic renewal, innovation, and job creation. Founded to engage G20 leaders in the cause of youth entrepreneurship, the alliance aims to share best practices across borders, advocate for positive policy changes, and create a global network of young entrepreneur advocates. The G20 YEA organizes the annual G20 YES, which sees entrepreneurs from each G20 nation contribute to recommendations on enhancing youth entrepreneurship. The event fosters collaboration and dialogue on access to funding, support initiatives, and the entrepreneurial culture, advocating for improved policies in taxation, regulation, and education. Through these efforts, the G20 YEA assists in building a supportive and collaborative entrepreneurial environment worldwide.
