G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit: Harnessing the Potential of Youth Entrepreneurship

The third edition of the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit (G20 YES), an annual international event organized by the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance, will be held in Nice from October 31 - November 2, 2011. This event brings together the most emblematic entrepreneurs of G20 nations to discuss how to best harness the potential of young entrepreneurs globally. Over 400 entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 45 will converge in Nice to share experiences and develop recommendations for G20 leaders. These proposals aim to demonstrate how entrepreneurship can be the key to overcoming global recession and shaping the 21st-century economy.

Key Organizations and Their Impact

McKinsey & Company will highlight best practices in favor of enterprise and entrepreneurship, while Ernst & Young will present a barometer of entrepreneurial confidence. These studies will serve as a framework for future public evaluation and assess the support implemented by G20 countries for entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurs' Organization, which organizes the G20 YES, aims to enhance access to funding, coordinate support initiatives, and promote entrepreneurship culture globally. The event has previously taken place in Toronto and Seoul and now gains official support from French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
