Center for Entrepreneurship Partners with Global Entrepreneurship Network
The Center for Entrepreneurship Forms Key Partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Network
Since 2008, Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) has collaborated with The Center for Entrepreneurship to facilitate easier access to starting and scaling businesses worldwide. By promoting deeper cross-border collaboration and initiatives among entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers, and entrepreneurial support organizations, GEN supports the creation of healthier startup ecosystems. These initiatives aim to create more jobs, provide education, accelerate innovation, and strengthen economic growth. GEN's extensive global presence ensures its members have exceptional access to pertinent knowledge, networks, communities, and programs, tailored to various factors, such as the size of the economy, the maturity of the ecosystem, language, culture, and geography.
Joint Programs and Initiatives
The Center for Entrepreneurship and GEN collaborate on two key programs: Global Entrepreneurship Week and Startup Huddle. These efforts are categorized into four main areas: Celebrate, Understand, Support, and Connect. The Celebrate area includes initiatives like Global Entrepreneurship Week, which engages millions each November through events that celebrate and inspire entrepreneurs. The Understand area focuses on GEN Research and other data-driven initiatives to understand the conditions that help entrepreneurs thrive. Support programs assist entrepreneurs at various growth stages, including GEN Policy, GEN Invest, GEN Accelerates, and more. Finally, Connect programs, such as the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, foster local ecosystems by connecting entrepreneurs and community leaders. GEN's global initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems, promoting innovation, and driving economic growth.
